Assessment Objective: Visitors are escorted.
CMMC objective AC.L2-3.10.3[a] requires that all visitors in areas where CUI systems are accessible must be escorted. Visitors should never be left unattended in spaces where they could view, access, or photograph CUI. Implement and maintain visitor control procedures that document visitor access, designate escorts, and ensure compliance with physical security policies.
This objective is evaluated during CMMC Level 2 assessments and is critical to maintaining the physical security perimeter around CUI systems.
