1. Executive Summary

You cannot protect what you cannot see. The modern attack surface — every cloud tenant, endpoint, firewall, domain, identity provider, and SaaS application your business depends on — changes constantly, and every unmanaged change is a potential opening for an attacker. Most breaches are not the result of exotic zero-days; they trace back to a misconfiguration, an unexpected change, or an asset nobody knew existed.

CyberGuard is Northern Data Solutions' managed Attack Surface Management service. It continuously discovers and inventories your external and internal attack surface, detects changes in near-real-time, and alerts your team so you can assess risk and respond before a misconfiguration becomes a breach. CyberGuard fills the gap between vulnerability scanning (which assumes you know what to scan) and incident response (which reacts after the fact).

2. The Business Problem

Modern enterprises don't have a static network anymore. Cloud deployments, microservices, containers, SaaS integrations, remote workforce endpoints, and third-party vendors all add assets and attack surface in real time — and most of that surface is poorly tracked.

3. What CyberGuard Delivers

CyberGuard continuously monitors your attack surface and notifies you of changes.

4. Compliance and Reporting

Compliance auditors expect to see evidence of how you manage your attack surface and respond to unauthorized changes.

5. The Bottom Line

Attack surface is not static. Neither should your visibility. CyberGuard gives your team the tools to see what you have, know when it changes, and respond faster than an attacker can exploit it.
